The Special Meeting of the City Counc;i.l of the City of Moorpark,
California was held on December 20, 1989, in the Council Chambers of
City Hall of said City, located at 7119 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark,
California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lawrason at 6:44 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers By-own, Harper, Perez, Montgomery,
and Mayor Lawrason.
Steven Kueny, City Manager; and Cheryl Kane, City
Attorney.
3. CLOSED SESSION:
MOTION: Councilmember Brown moved and Councilmember Montgomery
seconded a motion to adjourn to Closed Session for the following
items:
A. Personnel.
B. Potential litigation pursuant. to Government code Section
54956.9(b)(1).
C. Potential litigation pursuant to Government code Section
54956.9(c)
D. Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. Moorpark Unified
School District.
E. Litigation concerning Moorpark Unified School District vs.
City of Moorpark.
F. Negotiation for real property at 289 Casey Road (former High
School site - Moorpark Unified School District) pursuant to
Government Code Section 541145.8.
G. Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. Fedelety
Corporation (Arroyo Vista Park).
H. Litigation concerning Ventura Comity Community College
District vs. City of Moorpark.
I. Litigation concerning Ventura Courity vs. City of Moorpark.

J. Litigation concerning Rosetikrantz vs. City of Moorpark.
The motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
Richard Hare, Deputy City Manager entered the Closed Session
at 7:10 p.m.
The Council reconvened into open session at 7:20 p.m. Mr.
Kueny stated that there was no action to report out of Closed
Session and that only items 3.B. and 3.C. had been discussed.
4. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION: Councilmember Harper moved and Councilmember Brown
seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by
unanimous voice vote. The meeting ad' rned at 7:21 p.m.
