Moorpark, California October 21, 1992
A Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark
was held on October 21, 1992 in the City Council Chambers of said City
located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Lawrason called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Agency Members Montgomery, Perez, Talley,
Wozniak, and Chairman Lawrason.
Steven Kueny, Executive Director; Richard
Hare, Agency Treasurer; Cheryl Kane, Agency
Counsel; Lillian E. Hare, Agency Secretary.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR:
MOTION: Agency Member Perez moved and Agency Member Wozniak
seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar. The motion
carried by unanimous roll call vote.
A. Consider Approval of Minutes of the Special Meeting of the
Redevelopment Agency of September 16, 1992.
Staff Recommendation: Approve minutes as processed.
B. Warrant Register.
Regular Warrants 147 & 148 $ 797.50
149 $2,584.96
4. ACTION /DISCUSSION:
A. Consider Resolution No. 92 -14 Appointina Officers. Emulovees
and Agents of the Redevelopment Agency and Agreeing to
Reimburse the City of Moorpark for Personnel Services and
Contract Services Rendered. Staff Recommendation: Approve
Resolution No. 92 -14.
MOTION: Agency Member Montgomery moved and Agency Member Perez
seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 92 -14 with the addition
of the date January 1, 1994 in the 8th section of the resolution
and a signature page. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

B. Consider Acquisition of Southern Pacific Property for
Redevelopment Project Area. Staff Recommendation: Approve
property acquisition authorizing the Mayor to sign deeds and
contracts.
MOTION: Agency Member Perez moved and Agency Member Talley
seconded a motion to authorize the expenditure of $800,000 for the
purchase of the Southern Pacific property on the north side of the
railroad right -of -way and south side of High Street, beginning at
the east fence line of the commuter rail parking lot, west to
Moorpark Avenue and continuing on the west side of Moorpark Avenue
between the railroad right -of -way and High Street, to the Moorpark
Unified School District property; and to authorize the
appropriation of $20,000 for associated fees and costs related to
the sale. The motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
MOTION: Agency Member Wozniak moved and Agency Member Montgomery
seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by
unanimous voice vote. The time was 7:25 p.m.
