HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 1993 0602 RDA REGMINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Moorpark, California June 2, 1993 A Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark was held on June 2, 1993 in the Council Chambers of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Lawrason called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Agency Members Montgomery, Perez, Wozniak and Chairman Lawrason. Absent: Agency Member Hunter. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, Executive Director; Richard Hare, Agency Treasurer; Cheryl Kane, Agency Counsel; Marshall Lin of Urban Futures; and Lillian E. Hare, Agency Secretary. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR: MOTION: Chairman Lawrason moved and Agency Member Montgomery seconded a motion to pull item 3.C. and approve the balance of the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by voice vote 4 -0, Agency Member Hunter absent for the vote. A. Consider Approval of Minutes of a Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency Meeting of April 7, 1993. Consider Approval of Minutes of a Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency Meeting of April 21 1993. Staff Recommendation: Approve minutes as processed. B. Consider Approval of the Warrant Register. Regular Warrants 158 - 161 $ 12,419.95 Voided Warrant 155 $ (433.14) MINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MOORPARK. CALIFORNIA Page 2 June 2, 1993 The following item was pulled from the Consent Calendar for individual consideration: C. Consider Authorizing Resolution 93 -18, of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark Approving the Sale and Delivery of its Moorpark Redevelopment Project, 1993 Tax Allocation Bonds and Ratifying Certain Actions Taken in Connection Therewith. Staff Recommendation: Approve Resolution 93 -18. Mr. Hare gave the staff report. Mr. Lin indicated that Section 2 of the resolution should be amended to include the following language following "Bond Purchase Contract": provided the interest rate on the Bonds is the most favorable market rate and such interest rate does not exceed six and four - tenths percent (6.4 %) and the underwriter's discount does not exceed 1.575 %. MOTION: Agency Member Montgomery moved and Agency Member Wozniak seconded a motion to adopt Resolution 93 -18 as amended. The motion carried by voice vote 4 -0, Agency Member Hunter absent for the vote. 4. ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Agency Member Perez moved and Agency Member Wozniak seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting.
