Moorpark, California August 18, 1999
A Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark
was held on August 18, 1999 in the Community Center of said City
located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Hunter called the meeting to order at 6:58 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Agency Members Evans, Harper, Rodgers, Wozniak
and Chair Hunter
Staff Present: Steven Kueny, Executive Director; John Nowak,
Agency Treasurer; Brian, Assistant General
Counsel; and Deborah Traffenstedt, Agency
Secretary.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
4. PRESENTATION /ACTION /DISCUSSION:
None.
5. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Chair Hunter asked that Item 5.A., minutes of June 2, 1999, be
pulled.
MOTION: Agency Member Wozniak moved and Agency Member Harper
seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar, with the
exception of the minutes of June 2, 1999, under Item 5.A. The
motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
A. Consider Approval of Minutes of Regular Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency Meeting of April 21, 1999.
Consider Approval of Minutes of Regular Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency Meeting of July 21, 1999.
Staff Recommendation: Approve minutes as processed.
B. Consider an Amendment to the Tax Increment Distribution
Settlement Agreement between the Moorpark Unified School
District and the Moorpark Redevelopment AQencv. Staff
Recommendation: That the Redevelopment Agency Board of
Directors approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between
the Moorpark Unified School District, the Redevelopment

Agency of the City of Moorpark, and the City of Moorpark
for the distribution of tax increment funds from the
Moorpark Redevelopment Project and direct the Agency
Chairman to sign the Amendment.
C. Consider Resolution No. 99 -87 Amending, the Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency FY 99/00 Budget to Appropriate
$750,000 from the Tax Increment Reserve for Payment to the
Moorpark Unified School District. Staff Recommendation:
That the Agency Board of Directors adopt Resolution No. 99-
87 amending the Redevelopment Agency's FY 99/00 budget by
appropriating $750,000 for payment to the Moorpark Unified
School District. (ROLL CALL VOTE REQUIRED)
The following item was pulled for individual consideration:
A. Consider Approval of Minutes of Regular Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency Meeting of June 2, 1999.
Staff Recommendation: Approve minutes as processed.
Chair Hunter indicated he had pulled the minutes because
he was not present at the June 2 meeting, and stated that
he would not be voting on the item.
MOTION: Agency Member Harper moved and Agency Member Wozniak
seconded a motion to approve the minutes for the June 2, 1999,
regular meeting as presented. The motion carried by voice vote
4 -0, Chair Hunter abstaining.
AT THIS POINT in the meeting, a recess was declared to reconvene
the City Council meeting. The time was 7:00 p.m. The Agency
meeting reconvened at 11:26 p.m.
6. CLOSED SESSION:
Mr. Kueny announced that Item 6.A. on the agenda needed to be
discussed in Closed Session.
MOTION: Agency Member Harper moved and Chair Hunter seconded a
motion to adjourn to closed session for a discussion of Item 6.A. The
motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 11:26 p.m.

Chair Hunter adjourned the meeting at 11:59 p.m.
