HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 1984 155 1984 1205RESOLUTION NO. 84- 155 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF CITY OFFICES ON CERTAIN DAYS. WHEREAS, December 25, 1984 and January 1, 1985 fall on Tuesday; and WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Moorpark has negotiated with the employees of the City, who have unanimously agreed to exchange 16 hours of accrued leave (vacation and /or compensatory time off) for the closure of City business offices on December 24 and December 31, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That in addition to those legal holidays observed by the City as set forth in Section 2.55.010 of the Moorpark Municipal Code, the public offices of the City will he closed for business on December 24 and December 31, 1984, except those offices which must remain open for the continuation of essential public services, such as police protection. SECTION 2. That the employees of the City shall exchange 16 hours of accrued leave (vacation and /or compensatory time off) for each of said days set forth in Section 1 above.
