HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 1987 402 1987 0715RESOLUTION N0 87 - 402 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH THE FUNDING MECHANISM FOR THE VENTURA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 87 -393, adopted June 17, 1987, endorsed the formation of the Ventura County Transportation Commission, and set forth the membership of said commission; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Ventura County has requested that each City indicate its proposed funding mechanism. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Moorpark, California, recommends that the funding mechanism be from Local Transportation Funds (LTF) with up to 2% of the LTF annual revenues allocated to the Ventura County Transportation Commission for the transportation planning and programming process. The 2% allocation shall be subject to the approval of each City and the County of Ventura to which such revenues would otherwise be individually allocated.
