A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING THE CABLE
TELEVISION FRANCHISE FOR VENTURA COUNTY
CABLEVISION, INC. THROUGH OCTOBER 5, 1989.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Council action taken on June 7, 1989, the
City granted an extension of the cable television franchise held by
Ventura County Cablevision, Inc. (VCC) to August 17, 1989, in order to
permit the City and VCC to negotiate the final terms of a new franchise,
and in order to permit the City an opportunity to consider whether to
approve a new franchise; and,
WHEREAS, negotiations are still continuing.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The cable television franchise held by VCC is hereby
extended through October 5, 1989. The terms of the franchise are set
forth in Resolution No. 86 -363.
SECTION 2. Within thirty (30) days after passage of this
Resolution, VCC shall file in the office of the City Clerk a
written acceptance of this Resolution, executed by VCC in a form
approved by the City Attorney. VCC, by executing and filing the
acceptance, guarantees performance of all obligations hereunder.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, 1989.

California, do hereby certify under penalty of perjury that the
foregoing Resolution No. 601 , was adopted by the City Council of
the City of Moorpark at a. meeting held on the 2nd day of
August 1989, and that the same was adopted by the
following vote:
AYES:Councilmembers Lawrason, Montgomery, Perez & Mayor Brown.
