A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT Y
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA,
RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR
RESOLUTION
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ADJUSTING THE SALARY
1990/91, AND REPEALING
NO. 89 -587
WHEREAS, the Moorpark City Council established Personnel
System Rules and Regulations in Resolution No. 85 -185, adopted
April 29, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Rule 4 of said Resolution No. 85 -185 authorizes
the preparation and adoption of a Salary Plan for classes of
positions in the competitive service; and
WHEREAS, it is also in the interest of the City to establish
by resolution a salary plan for positions not in the competitive
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Salary Plan of MONTHLY salary rates is
hereby adopted for the classes of positions in the COMPETITIVE
SERVICE as follows, effective January 1, 1990.

SECTION 3: That pursuant to the applicable Personnel Rules
and Regulations, the classifications of Associate Planner,
Finance Officer, Recreation Supervisor, Maintenance and
Operations Supervisor, and Senior Planner are exempt from the
payment of overtime and /or compensatory time off, except as
otherwise specifically provided for in the City's Personnel
System Rules and Regulations and /or Memorandum of Understanding.
SECTION 4: That Salary Plan of MONTHLY and /or ANNUAL
salary rates for positions NOT lt4 THE COMPETITIVE SERVICE are
as follows, effective May 21, 191.0:

SECTION 7: That Resolution No.89 -587 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, ADJUSTING THE SALARY RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/90,
REPEALING RESOLUTION 89 -541, ADOPTED JULY 19, 1989 is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 8: That any employee in the Competitive Service
who is designated as Deputy City Clerk by the City Clerk and
approved by the City Manager, shall receive an additional salary
compensation of 5% in addition to the regular salary rate of
that employee, during the time period the employee is so
designated. No more than one position in Competitive Service
may be designated as Deputy City Clerk and receive said
compensation at any one time.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this Sixteenth day of May,
1990.
