RESOLUTION NO. 90 - 691
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, ADJUSTING THE SALARY
RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990 /91, AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 90 -666
WHEREAS, the Moorpark City Council established Personnel
System Rules and Regulations in Resolution No. 85 -185, adopted
April 29, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Rule 4 of said Resolution No. 85 -185 authorizes the
preparation and adoption of a Salary Plan for classes of
positions in the competitive service; and
WHEREAS, it is also in the interest of the City to establish
by resolution a salary plan for positions not in the competitive
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Salary Plan of MONTHLY salary rates is
hereby adopted for the classes of positions in the COMPETITIVE
SERVICE as follows, effective July 2, 1990.

SECTION 3: That pursuant to the applicable Personnel Rules
and Regulations, the classifications of Associate Planner, Finance
Officer, Recreation Supervisor, Maintenance and Operations
Supervisor, and Senior Planner are exempt from the payment of
overtime and /or compensatory time off, except as otherwise
specifically provided for in the City's Personnel System Rules and
Regulations and /or Memorandum of Understanding.
SECTION 4: That Salary Plan of MONTHLY and /or ANNUAL salary
rates for positions NOT IN THE COMPETITIVE SERVICE are as follows,
effective July 2, 1990:

SECTION 7: That Resolution No. 90 -691 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, ADJUSTING THE SALARY RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990/91,
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION 90 -666, ADOPTED MAY 16, 1990 is hereby
repealed.
