HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 1992 837 1992 0304/CQSCr11deci by F -1-7 -4y RESOLUTION NO. 9 - 837 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90 - 701 BY CHANGING THE SPEED LIMIT FOR HIGH STREET WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90 - 701 designated the speed limit for that portion of High Street between Moorpark Avenue and Spring Road to be twenty -five (25) MPH; and, WHEREAS, the City has directed that this speed limit be reevaluated and that a new speed survey be conducted for this purpose; and, WHEREAS, the findings in said survey support changing the speed limit for this street segment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 90 - 701 is hereby amended by changing the speed limit for Segment No. 12: High Street -- between Moorpark Avenue and Spring Road, from 25 MPH to 30 MPH. SECTION 2. That the City Manager is directed to have speed limit signs posted and maintained giving notice of said speed limit. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 1992.
