HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 1993 957 1993 0630 RESOLUTION 93- 957 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 1993/1994 ANNUAL BUDGET WHEREAS, the City Council has received the City Manager' s recommended budget, received public testimony on the budget, and recommended changes thereto; and WHEREAS, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles the City does organize its activities according to funds which are self balancing sets of accounts established to record the financial position and results of operations of a specific governmental activity, and WHEREAS, the annual budget establishes beginning balances, the estimate of revenues, appropriations, as well as, the estimated ending balances for each fund, and WHEREAS, all governmental funds, which include the General Fund, special revenue funds and capital projects funds, which are used to record the general operations of the City, are listed in the attached summary, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: The adoption of the fiscal year 1993/1994 budget for all funds as represented by the attached schedule is hereby adopted with the following overall amounts: Beginning Balance July 1, 1993 $19, 893 , 593 Revenues for all funds $12 , 859, 837 Expenditures for all funds $15, 420, 271 Estimated Ending Balance $17 , 333 , 159 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS THIRTIETH DAY OF JUNE, 1993 . 1 Paul W.
