RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK CLARIFYING
FUND APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL PROJECTS AND APPROVING A
BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE MOORPARK AVENUE/SPRING ROAD STORM
DRAINAGE PROJECT (PROJECT NUMBER 8011)
WHEREAS, on June 19, 1996, the City Council adopted the City's Fiscal Year
1996/1997 Budget; and,
WHEREAS, certain capital improvement projects included in said Budget were
funded from sources identified as "other;" and,
WHEREAS, staff has now identified the proposed funding sources for said
Projects; and,
WHEREAS, certain projects have the State /Local Transportation Partnership
Program ( SLTPP) as a funding source; and,
WHEREAS, funding from the SLTPP may vary from the amount actually applied
for based upon available grant monies and number of program participants; and,
WHEREAS, the progress of the Moorpark Avenue /Spring Road Storm Drainage
Project (Project Number 8011) has been ahead of original schedule; and
WHEREAS, such completion has accelerated certain expenses as compared
with the initial spending plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The identified funding sources for those projects originally listed as
"other" as more particularly identified in Exhibit "A" attached hereto are hereby
approved; and,
Section 2: The budget amendment to the Moorpark Avenue /Spring Road Storm
Drain Project (Project 8011) as more particularly described in Exhibit "B" attached
hereto is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21 st day of August, 1996.
