A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 97 -1267 PERTAINING TO THE INITIATION OF
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE CREATION OF NEW ZONES
WITHIN "WORPARK LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPING
MAINTENANCE ASSESSMMUT DISTRICT NO. AD -84 -2"
AND THE PREPARATION OF A REPORT FOR THE LEVY
OF ANNUAL ASS3 SMOWS FOR SAID DISTRICT FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR CNCING JULY 1, 1997, AND
ENDING JUNE 30, 1998
WHEREAS, on January 15, 1997, the City Council of the City of
Moorpark, adopted Resolution No. 97 -1267 proposing to extend the
annual assessments levied pursuant to "Moorpark Lighting and
Landscaping Maintenance Assessment District No. AD -84 -2" for the
fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and;
WHEREAS, said resolution directed that an Engineer's Report be
prepared in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 1, Part 2, Division
15 of the Streets and Highways Code pertaining to such matters;
and,
WHEREAS, said resolution also stated that said Engineer's Report
shall provide for the establishment of certain new Zones of Benefit
in order to provide for the levy of an additional assessment upon
the properties within said Zones in order to fund the maintenance
costs for certain designated landscape improvements within said
zones, which are generally described follows: a) all of the
properties within Tract 4147 (Colmer); and, b) all of the
properties within the Carlesberg Specific Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend Resolution No. 97-
1267, to allow for the consideration of the establishment of a
third new Zone of Benefit to fund the design, construction and
future maintenance of certain other landscaping improvements as
defined herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Moorpark,
California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1: That Resolution No. 97 -1267 is hereby amended to
require the Engineer's Report which has been directed to be
prepared, to also provide for the establishment of a third new Zone
of Benefit generally described as Tract 4147, said areas being

situated within the City of Moorpark, in order to provide for the
levy of an additional assessment upon the properties within said
Tract to fund certain improvement and /or maintenance costs for
Campesina Park, a neighborhood park to be constructed near the
south end of Liberty Bell Road.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
