Home My WebLink AboutRES CC 1997 1392 1997 1001RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 1392 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 92- f892)PERTAINING TO EKING RESTRICTIONS IN THE CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX AND REENACTING THOSE PARKING RESTRICTIONS TO INCLUDE ALL THE PARKING AREAS WITHIN THE CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 21113d and 22519 of the California Vehicle Code, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92 -892 prohibiting parking between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in the parking lots in front of the City Hall and the Community Center; and, WHEREAS, the County of Ventura has asked that those parking restrictions be expanded to include the parking lots for the Library; and, WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with that request and wishes to take action to expand the existing parking restrictions at the Moorpark Civic Center Complex to include the Library parking lots. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 92 -892 is hereby rescinded. SECTION 2. That parking between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is hereby prohibited in any parking areas within the Civic Center complex at 699 -799 Moorpark Avenue, as generally shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 3.
