A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING DOG PARK HOURS
OF OPERATION
WHEREAS, Section 12.16.200.A of Chapter 12.16, Parks and Open Space, of
the Moorpark Municipal Code states hours of operation for the dog park shall be
established by City Council resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that the dog park hours of
operation shall be from seven (7:00) a.m. until five (5:00) p.m. for Pacific Standard Time
and from seven (7:00) a.m. until seven (7:00) p.m. for Pacific Daylight Savings Time. The
dog park shall be closed for maintenance one morning each week, with the exception of a
City holiday, and the schedule for maintenance shall be determined by the City Manager or
his or her designated representative.
SECTION 2. Notice of dog park hours of operation, including maintenance
schedule, shall be posted at the dog park in accordance with Section 12.16.030, Signs.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective upon the effective date of
Ordinance No. 392, approving changes to Chapter 12.16, Parks and Open Space.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall
cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
