Home My WebLink AboutRES CC 2010 2965 2010 1020RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -2965 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK OF 2010 TAX ALLOCATION BONDS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark (the "Agency ") has determined at this time to issue its not to exceed $5,125,000 aggregate initial principal amount of Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark, Moorpark Redevelopment Project, 2010 Tax Allocation Refunding Bonds (the "Bonds ") to provide funds to refinance the Agency's Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark (Moorpark Redevelopment Project) 1999 Tax Allocation Refunding Bonds, which refinancing will result in a lower interest cost to the Agency of such bonds; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Section 33640 of the California Health and Safety Code, the City Council wishes at this time to approve the issuance and sale of the Bonds by the Agency; and WHEREAS, the City Council approves of the issuance of the Bonds as being in the public interests of the City of Moorpark and of the Agency. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Moorpark approves the issuance of the Bonds by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark, as herein above described. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, which shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
