Home My WebLink AboutRES CC 2011 3058 2011 0914RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -3058 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE CITY HAS NO CITY PURPOSE FOR THE PROPERTY AT 500 WEST LOS ANGELES AVENUE OTHER THAN TO LEASE THE PROPERTY FOR A COMMERCIAL USE WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark ( "Agency ") purchased the property located at 500 West Los Angeles Avenue, Assessor Parcel No. 506 -0- 050 -080 ( "Property ") with tax increment funds; and WHEREAS, the Agency transferred the Property to the City of Moorpark; and WHEREAS, the City of Moorpark desires to lease the Property to Tom Lindstrom RV Sales Inc. to conduct recreational vehicle sales; and WHEREAS, Section 37395 of the Government Code requires the City to declare that there is no other city purpose for the Property prior to leasing the property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that there is no City purpose for the Property at 500 West Los Angeles Avenue, other than to lease the property for a commercial use. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
