SUBJECT: GENERAL PLAN UPDATE NOTICE
Attached for your Commission' s information is a copy of the notice
and list of property owners to whom it was sent regarding the
opportunity for individuals to file a General Plan Amendment request
to be considered in conjunction with the General Plan Update. The
preparation of the notice, identification of property owners, preparation
of mailing labels and the actual sending of the notice involved
17 hours of staff time.

NOTICE TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS
The City of Moorpark is in the process of updating and completing
the General Plan. Notice is hereby given that all property owners
are to be afforded the opportunity to apply for a General Plan
Amendment which will be processed as part of the update. Cost for
the update will be shared between the City and property owners
requesting amendments. Each property owner will be required to
pay for actual costs associated with his/her request.
As part of the update, the City will be revising the adopted Land
Use and Circulation Elements. The Land Use Element is the primary
element for the General Plan. Also, Noise, Open Space, Conservation
and Safety Elements will be prepared to complete the General Plan.
The period for filing an application ends May 1, 1985. For add-
itional information please contact City Hall, (805) 529-6864.
