The Commission reviewed the two aspects of the proposed 118/23 freeway connection as requested by the City Council. The Commission discussed for some time their preferences between the Condor Road entry/exit ramps and the Princeton Avenue proposal. Testimony received by the following: (1) Bob Huston, 14972 Marquette Street, Moorpark, CA. Varsity Park (Patio Homes). Spoke in support of the extension from Varsity Park area. Mr. Huston inquired of the Commission if whether or not a Commission member would have a conflict of interest in discussing the matter at hand. The Commission verified with the City Attorney that no conflict existed and proceeded to discuss the matter. The Commissioners found the Condom Road entry /exit ramps more acceptable; while the other two voiced concern about a lack of adequate information to make a decision. very few comments were generated towards the question of impacts ont he Tierra Rejada Road area and Campus Park area of the freeway would be placed in the southern alignment. It was the general Planning Commission Minutes of September 8, 1987 Page 4 consensus of the Commission that any further delays would slow down the 118/23 freeway link.
