PC -86 -101 A RESOLUTION OF THE MOORPARK PLANNING COMMISSION b OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING Owl DENIAL OF VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT NO. TR -3049 AND RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT NO. PD -1057 ON THE APPLICATION OF UNITED STATES CONDOMINIUM CORPORATION. ASSESSOR PARCEL NO. 500 - 281- 13, -14. WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public hearing on June 25, 1986, the planning Commisison considered the application filed by United States Condominium Corporation requesting approval of a vesting tentative tract map to subdivide the property into 93 townhome lots and a park site. Also requesting approval of a residential planned development permit for the construction of the townhomes. Located west of the terminus of Loyola Street and Fordham Street and just north of the CalTrans Right -o£ Way. Happy Camp Canyon drainage channel parallels the east boundary of the site. The undeveloped Happy Camp Canyon Regional Park is located to the north of the site. Property to west is undeveloped and designated OS -1. Property to the east is developed with single family homes. WHEREAS, the Moorpark Planning Commission, after review and consideration of the information contained in the Negative Declaration, "KK has found that this project will not have a significant effect on the A, environment; and has reached its decision in the matter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the findings contained in the staff report dated June 25, 1986, which report is incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein are hereby denied by a motion to approve staffs recommendation to recommend to the City Council approval of Vesting Tentative Tract TR -3049, the related Residential Planned Development, and certification of the Negative Declaration. Motion failed by the following roll call vote: AYES: Commissioner Keenan; NOES: Vice -Chair Claffey, Commissioner Hartley; ABSENT: Chairman LaPerch, Commissioner Holland. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council of the City of Moorpark that Tentative Tract No. 3049; and Residential Planned Development No. RPD -1057 be denied on the grounds that the project included excessive grading in the area of over 20 percent slope. the foregoing direction was approved by the following roll call vote: AYES: Commissioner Keenan; NOES: Commissioners Hartley, Claffey; ABSENT: Commissioners Holland, LaPerch; PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this of July 1986.
