A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA SELECTING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MOORPARK REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AND APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR
REDEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT AREA AND
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL TO THE MOORPARK
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
The Planning Commission of the City of Moorpark does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1988, the Moorpark City Council
designated a Redevelopment Survey Area for redevelopment study purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health
and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq.) provides for the local planning
agency to select a redevelopment project area from within the boundaries of
a survey area, and to formulate a preliminary plan for the redevelopment of
the selected project area; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the staff
report submitted in conjunction with this matter, and based thereon has
determined that the proposed project area boundaries as hereinafter set
forth are appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
Section 1. The Planning Commission hereby selects and
designates the properties within the designated Redevelopment Survey Area
to be included within the proposed Project Area as shown on the Project
Area Map ( "Appendix A ") and inclusive of Potential Improvements /Projects
( "Exhibit A ") attached and incorporated herein by reference. The
designated properties are being included based upon field surveys,
consultations with Agency staff and the citizens steering committee. In
the event that it may be necessary, for clarification purposes, to make
minor technical changes to the boundaries described in Appendix A the
Planning Commission finds and determines that minor, technical changes for
clarification purposes do not materially affect the boundaries selected and
designated hereby.
Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby approves the
Preliminary Plan for the Moorpark Redevelopment Project Area in the form
submitted herewith and incorporated herein by reference.

EXHIBIT "A"
Inclusive Potential Improvement/ Project
Maureen Lane area including Beltramo Road
Condor Drive industrial area and if necessary delete a portion of
the Kavlico area to meet the criteria for urbanized area.
The JBR property if the proposed project area can still meeting the
criteria for urbanized area.
The industrial area west of Shasta Avenue currently shown as NAP
(not a part).
All of the area south of Los Angeles Avenue between Spring Road
and Park Lane including the area at the south terminus of Fremont
Street.
Delete the area south of Arroyo Simi west of Spring Road if needed
to meet the criteria for urbanized area.

Section 3. The Secretary of the Planning Commission is hereby
authorized and directed to submit the Preliminary Plan to the Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency for the preparation of an official redevelopment plan
for the project.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November
1988.
