A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THE
VACATION OF CERTAIN STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY ON THE
EAST SIDE OF SPRING ROAD SOUTH OF PEACH HILL
ROAD TO BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CITY OF
MOORPARK GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the development of the property at the southeast corner
of Peach Hill Road and Spring Road requires the widening and
realignment of Spring Road; and,
WHEREAS, said proposed widening and. realignment of Spring Road
is to be constructed in a manner consistent with the requirements
of the Circulation Element of the Moorpark General Plan; and,
WHEREAS, said realignment has created certain surplus street
right -of -way on the east side of Spring Road, which is identified
in Exhibit 'A' attached hereto and made a part hereof; and,
WHEREAS, said surplus street right -of -way is not required for
the said street construction; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate, therefore, to vacate said surplus
street right -of -way; and,
WHEREAS, Section 65402 of the Government Code of the State of
California requires that any vacation of a street must be
accompanied by a finding that said vacation is in conformance with
the General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF NOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the vacation of the surplus street right -of -way
identified on Exhibit 'All attached hereto and made a part hereof,
are hereby found to be in conformance with the City of Moorpark
General Plan.

sECTioN 2. That said finding is made pursuant to the
requirements of Section 65402 of the Government Code of the State
of California.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 17 th day of
June 1991.

That portion of land lying within Spring Road, formerly known as
Moorpark Road, in the City of Moorpark, as shown on Tract No. 4069
recorded in Book 103, Page 57 of Miscellaneous Records (Maps) in
the Office of the County Recorder, County of Ventura, State of
California, lying within the following described boundaries:
Beginning at a point in the northeasterly line of said Spring Road,
said point being the southwesterly terminus of that certain course
shown as "N89 059100 "E 14.130" on map of said tract, thence
northeasterly and southeasterly along the boundary of said Spring
Road, as said Spring road is also the common boundary of said Tract
No. 4069; thence,
1st: North 89 059100" East 14.13 feet; thence,
2nd: South 17 050136" East 77.32 feet to the point of northerly
terminus of that curved portion of said northeasterly line
of Spring Road that departs from, and is non - tangent to,
said common boundary of said Tract 4069, said curved
northeasterly line being concave westerly and having a
radius of 1,747.00 feet, a radius line of said curve to
last said point bears N64009125 "E; thence,
3rd: along the northwesterly extension of said curve through a
central angle of 2042150 ", an arc length of 85.75 feet to
the point of beginning.
