A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVAL OF PROPOSED ZONE CHANGES ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES
TO MAKE ZONING CONSISTENT WITH THE ADOPTED LAND USE
DESIGNATIONS OF THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN
Whereas, on May 13, 1992, the City Council Adopted
Resolution No. 92 -856 adopting the revised Moorpark Land Use and
Circulation Elements of the General Plan and related maps.
Whereas, changes to land use designations created an
inconsistency between the land use designation and the existing
zoning on properties within the City.
whereas, as part of implementation of the General Plan it
is necessary to make zone changes in order to make the zoning
consistent with the current land use designation on the property.
Whereas, on September 16, 1992, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 92 -884 directing the Planning Commission to study,
set a public hearing and provide a recommendation to the City
Council pertaining to proposed zone changes to make zoning
consistent with the adopted land use designations of the city's
general plan.
Whereas, on October 5, 1992, the Planning Commission
opened a public hearing, studied, and provide a recommendation to
the City Council pertaining to proposed zone changes to make zoning
consistent with the adopted land use designations of the city's
general plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission has determined that
the City Council certified Final Environmental Impact Report
prepared for the General Plan Land Use Element update addresses any
environmental impacts as a result of the proposed zone changes.
SECTION 2. That at the regularly scheduled Planning
Commission hearing held on October 5, 1992, the Planning Commission
opened and closed a public hearing, studied, and provided a
recommendation to the City Council approval of the zone changes as
shown on Attachment 1.
SECTION 3. The Planning Commission recommends to the
City Council approval of the proposed zone changes.

The action of the foregoing direction was approved by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioner's Torres, Brodsky, May, Miller & Wesner.

ABSTAIN:
ABSENT:
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1992.
