Lindley, Director of Community Services`' DATE: March 2, 2001 (Meeting of March 10, 2001) SUBJECT: Select One Parks and Recreation Commissioner to Serve on the Public Arts Advisory Committee BACKGROUND At its February 21 meeting, the City Council took action to formally establish a Public Arts Advisory Committee to consider public arts projects. The Committee will be comprised of two City Councilmembers, one Parks and Recreation Commissioner, and two at -large members from the public with art related background. The Commission is being asked to select one of its members to serve on the Committee. It is anticipated that the Committee will meet monthly, beginning in May, and that it will hold its meetings in the late afternoon. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Select one member to serve on the Public Arts Advisory Committee. MOORPARK PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION AGENDA REPORT TO: The Parks and Recreation Commission FROM: Mary K. The purpose is not to identify maintenance issues. Attachment A to the Agenda Report lists the parks we will be touring and the estimated time when we will arrive at each park.
