NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Parks and
Recreation Commission of the City of Moorpark is hereby called to
be held on Saturday, March 10, 2001, commencing at 10:00 a.m. Said
meeting will meet at the Community Center, 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true
and correct.

SUBJECT: Select One Parks and Recreation Commissioner to
Serve on the Public Arts Advisory Committee
BACKGROUND
At its February 21 meeting, the City Council took action to
formally establish a Public Arts Advisory Committee to consider
public arts projects. The Committee will be comprised of two
City Councilmembers, one Parks and Recreation Commissioner, and
two at -large members from the public with art related
background.
The Commission is being asked to select one of its members to
serve on the Committee. It is anticipated that the Committee
will meet monthly, beginning in May, and that it will hold its
meetings in the late afternoon.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Select one member to serve on the Public Arts Advisory
Committee.

SUBJECT: Parks and Recreation Commission Park Tour
BACKGROUND
The Commission will tour a number of City parks for the purpose
of discussing and identifying enhancements and improvements it
may wish to recommend. The purpose is not to identify
maintenance issues.
Attachment A to the Agenda Report lists the parks we will be
touring and the estimated time when we will arrive at each park.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Provide staff with feedback on recommended park enhancements and
improvements.
