GILLESPIE Chief of Police Enter into a contract with Michael Brandman Associates Inc., to prepare an EIR for the subject project and provide staff services for the processing of the permits. G.H. Palmer & Associates is the applicant. BACKGROUND INFORMATION PD- 1010 /LDM -3 is proposed development of 400 apartments at the southeast corner of Moorpark Avenue and Los Angeles Avenue. In reviewing the proposal, staff has determine that possible significant adverse environmental impacts may result from the project. The applicant is requesting a "Density Bonus" and this increase in build -out beyond that previously projected by the General Plan necessitates a review of the effects of the project on all City services. The attached contract has been agreed to by Michael Brandman Associates, the consultant. Exhibit A to the contract has been agreed to by G.H. Palmer & Associates. All costs associated with the preparation of this report and the contract staffing will be born by the applicant. SUGGESTED MOTION Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Michael Brandman Associates after the submission to the City of all required funds by G.H.
