KANE City Attorney NIALL FRIZZ Director of Community Development R. DENNIS DELZEIT City Engineer JOHN V. GILLESPIE Chief of Police City staff attended the briefing session on this matter, held by the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) on June 7, 1985. The following is the current tentative schedule for the program: Submission of Letter of Intent June 19 Request for Proposal Available from AAA early July Application submitted August AAA Review and Evaluation September County Recommendations Submitted to the State November 1 Grant Awards December Staff is currently setting up a meeting with the Senior Citizens Center Committee to determine what amount of grant funds should be requested. This will be determined by the size of the proposed facility. Additional information will be presented at the Council Meeting. RECOMMENDED ACTION Authorize submission of Letter of Intent.
