Discussion with the representatives of Pacifica and Pardee is continuing.
Their expressed concerns include the plans, substitution of amenities,
timing for commencement of construction, City approval prior to seeding,
elimination of requirement for the park to be available to the public for 180
consecutive days, mutual indemnification, $5 not $10 million insurance limit,
and paragraph 9(j) regarding Developer's responsibility for damage repair
during the maintenance period. In addition, City staff recently discovered
the attached information concerning:
amtre- o
(1) Storm Drain Improvement Plans
(2) Board of Supervisor action concerning appeal including
provision of improvements in attached 10/31/78 County
staff report. This information has been forwarded to
Pacifica with a request for copies of the plans referenced
in the May 8, 1980 letter.

SOIL CONDITIONING
The deve oper intends to use selective ' -Il from the n or
tract area which is presently in citrus or ^ ^ards for the
top soil in the park. Citrus soil, however-, has .i high
acidic content and is not acceptable for turf grass plant.rnys.
wf: would, therefore, recommend that the soil be condition, ' -d
to r 7.5 Ph level to assure successful turf grass surv:v;al
aver a long period of time. In addition, the sail shn.rid
be in a friable condition scarified or ripped to a le:"
of 12" to assure proper root growth.
These issues have been brought before your Board f(r- final
