A. Revision to the Gradine*Plan for Tract Nos.-4170 and 3070 -4: U.S.-Condominium
Corporation. Adjustment to'pad elevation grades causing-103,000 cubic yards
to be readjusted on the subject site; adjacent to Campus Park Drive, Marquette
Street and the future streets of Marymount, Queens Court, Cutter Circle,
Loyola Street and Marquette Circle. The Planning Commission recommends denial
of the request. The applicant has asked for continuance to March 4. 1987.
B. Residential Planned Development Permit No. PD -1058: Glenhaven. Inc. Consider-
ation of a request to construct 22 single - family residences on a previously
approved 22 lot subdivision (TR- 3306). The development is located on Ingle-
wood Avenue between Peach Hill Road and the Southern California Edison
Company easement. The Planning Commission recommends approval of the request
subject to conditions of Planning Commission's Resolution No. PC -87 -123.

ordering the Engineer to prepare and file a report in accordance therewith.

for the Parks Maintenance Assessment District No. AD 85 -1, and ordering the
Engineer the prepare and file a report in accordance therewith.

B. Computer System Proposal. A report regarding the proposed purchase of an
IBM System 36, Model 5362. Staff Recommendation: Authorize City Staff to
purchase the proposed system with the purchase amount not to exceed $38,000.
C. Marlborough Landscape Project. Consideration of a request by the Marlborough
Homeowners - for the City to share the costs and provide monthly maintenance
for the proposed landscaping and irrigation of the southwest corner of Peach
Hill Road and Moorpark Road.- All costs would be.-funded-through AD 84 -2.'
Staff recommendation: Approve the.projects. presented.
D. Consider an agreement to construct public works improvements in a 4.5 acre
residential project located on the north side of Wicks Road (PM- 3930). Staff
.Recommendation: Approve.the agreement and authorize the Mayor to execute
the necessary document(s) on behalf of the City.
E. Los Angeles Avenue Widening Project.
1. Consider taking the initial step to begin condemnation proceedings
for the acquisition of necessary right -of -way for the project. Staff
Recommendation: Defer consideration until March 4, 1987 to allow
the Public Works Committee to review available information including
counter offer proposed by property owner(s).
2. Consider directing staff to initiate Eminent Domain proceedings for
property needed for the widening of Los Angeles Avenue, at the inter-
section of Maureen Lane and Los Angeles Avenue, (Country Properties,
� Inc.). Staff Recommendation: Direct staff to proceed with necessary
action to initiate the proceedings.
F. Consideration of a request by the Planning Commission to hold a joint meeting
with the City Council on February 25, 1987 at 7:00 p.m. Staff Recommendation:
Take action deemed appropriate by the City Council.

G. Consideration of a Proposed Redevelopment Survey Area; Request for Proposals
Tor a feasibility study of establishing a Redevelopment Project Area and
Formation of a Redevelopment Agency. Staff Recommendation: Proceed with
a Request for Proposals for a feasibility study and formation of a Redevelop-
` went Agency.
H. Proposal for preparation of Engineer's reports for Annual Assessments for
Lighting Maintenance Assessment District (AD 84 -2) and Parks Maintenance
Assessment District (AD 85 -1). Staff Recommendation: Accept proposals and
authorize preparation of the Engineer's reports.
I. Consideration of a draft letter to the League of California Cities outlining
the inconsistencies in the Ralph M. Brown Act and offering support to possible
clean -up legislation. Staff Recommendation: Approve the letter and authorize
the Mayor to sign it on behalf of the City.
J. Consideration of a Tree Preservation Committee report and request for direction
regarding the Committee's duties and direction regarding a proposed tree
preservation ordinance. Staff Recommendation: Provide the Tree Preservation
Committee with direction relative to their direction and responsibilities.
K. Consider the purchase of a lawn vacuum. Staff Recommendation: Authorize
the purchase of the equipment with funds from the-Park Maintenance Fund and
• the Gas Tax.Fund.
L. Report by the City Attorney concerning Council's consideration of a Traffic
Mitigation Few Ordinance.
