GENOVESE City Treasurer DATE : August 14, 1987 SUBJECT : Approval of Time and Material Contracts with Sully - Miller Contracting Company for the Rubberized Railroad Crossing Work The attached report and time and material contracts describe the work and accompanying unit prices and total cost. The work at Moorpark Road and Old Los Angeles Avenue is funded by the Los Angeles Avenue AOC and Gas Tax Funds, respectively. These projects are funded as part of the adopted 1987/88 budgets. As you are aware, the persistence of the City resulted in the scheduling of this project. To conform to the time constraints imposed by the railroad it was necessary to use a time and materials contract. RECOMMENDED ACTION Approve time and material contracts with Sully- Miller Contracting Company and authorize the City Manager to execute the contracts.
