to address the Council concerning a Public Hearing item must do so during the
Public_ Hearing for that item. Speaker Cards must be received by the City Clerk

that their Speaker Cards are received. A limitation of 3 minutes shall be
imposed upon each speaker.

D. Consider an award of contract for continued contractual
services_ for _ _temporary___ accounting _ services. Staff
Recommendation: Authorize the Mayor to execute the necessary
agreement on behalf of the City.
E. Consider a request to set a_ Public Hearing regardi_n_g_a
Laurelhurst Road easement_ vacation. Staff Recommendation: Set
June 1, 1988 as the Public Hearing date.
F. Consider a_s_taff report regarding the need_to amend the City's
Zoning Code to requlatepolitical signs. Staff Recommendation:
Adopt Resolution No. 88- instructing staff to accomplish a
revision to the City's sign code.
G. Consider a_ resort from staff regarding the need to identify
existing non-conforming uses _in -.all zones_. Staff
Recommendation: Direct staff to conduct a survey of
non - conforming uses throughout the City and with a report back
to Council.
H. Resolution No. 88- A proposed resolution concerning a
limited "No Parking Zone" along the north side of Route 118
between Park Lane and Shasta Street. Staff Recommendation:
Approve the proposed resolution.

J. Consider an adjustment in the landscape maintenance eas_e_ments

Accept the revised landscape planting and maintenance easement,
accept the Quitclaim of the original landscape planting and
maintenance easement, authorize the City Clerk to execute the
necessary documents on behalf of the City.
K. Consider the award of the maintenance contract_ for Peach Hill
Park. Staff Recommendation: Award the contract to California
Landscape Maintenance.
L. Consider an informational report concerning a request to do a
field survey for the repair of a drainage at Bard and Charles
Streets. Staff Recommendation: Receive and file this report

0. Consideration of a _Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
contract between the County___of Ventura and the City of Moorpark
— Entitlement --Program ____1986 /87 _ and _1987/88. Staff
Recommendation: Approve the contract subject to City Attorney
and City Manager approval of final language, and authorize the
City Manager to sign the contract on behalf of the City.
P. Consider a report and draft Community_Deyeiopment B_lock_Grant
(CDBG) contract regardinq use of CDBG funds in support of a low
income housing project with Cabrillo Economic Development
Corporation and the City of_ Moorpark. Staff Recommendation:
Approve the contract and authorize the City Manager to sign the
contract on behalf of the City.
Q. Further consideration _ of cost _ estimates for Highway 11$
improvements thro_ugh _the ___Vir_gin_a. Colony___Area. Staff
Recommendation:
R. Consider a report_ regardi_ng_the_ public review period of the
Draft Environmental Impact Report= - Hazardous Waste /Materials
Management Plan Tanner _Plan). Staff Recommendation: Receive
and file this report.

Highlands). Consider a report regarding the possible
processing options available. Staff Recommendation: Direct
staff as deemed appropriate.
B. Planned Development_ Permit No. 1062 - -_ Major Modification_ No. 1
(Embassy Plaza). A request to add an additional 7,886 square
foot free - standing building on the subject site located on the
northwest corner of Spring Road and Tierra Rejada Road. Staff
Recommendation: Approve iith conditions. Planning Commission

accomplished in relation to the limits of the contract. Staff
Recommendation: Continue this matter to the May 18, 1988
meeting.
