Dennis Delzeit, City Engineer / ✓Z�.c�� J� c�� November 9, 1988 Tierra Rejada Road and Bridge Project Final Completion BACKGROUND INFORMATION The contractor for the Tierra Rejada Road and Bridge Project has completed all items of work per the contract plans and specifications. The Ventura County Flood Control District and Waterworks District No. 1 have accepted their respective facilities as complete. The contractor has also submitted his "Release on Contract" form in accordance with the specifications, requesting final acceptance of the improvements. The "Release on Contract" is for all work, excluding his outstanding claims as shown on the attached copy of the document. The City Engineer is attempting to resolve these claims, but the contractor is on an extended vacation at this time. The contract completion date is January 1, 1989 but the bridge was opened for public use on October 21, 1988, with the City taking partial acceptance of the improvements within the right -of -way for Tierra Rejada Road at that time. Since then, the contractor has completed his remaining items of work and a final progress payment has been prepared.
