Tract 3963 (Griffin) - Acceptance of Right -of -way
for Collins Dr. South of the Tract Boundary
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The conditions of development for Tract No. 3963 (Griffin)
require the construction of improvements to Collins Drive
between Campus Park Drive and the southern tract boundary.
A location map showing the location of the tract and the
required improvements is enclosed for your reference.
In order to begin construction of Collins Drive south of the
tract boundary, Griffin Homes is required to obtain
additional right -of -way from the adjacent land owners
(Ventura County Community College and the Church of Latter
Day Saints) , and dedicate this right -of -way to the City.
Griffin Homes has now succeeded in arranging for the
dedication of the required right -of -way along Collins Drive
to the City of Moorpark. A sketch of the additional
right -of -way as well as copies of the grants deeds are
attached. The original grant deeds are on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Authorize the City Clerk to execute a Certificate of
Acceptance for the grant deed from the Church of Latter Day
Saints, Ventura Community College District and Griffin Homes
for Collins Drive right -of -way.
