Richards, Director of Community Development: DATE: August 23, 1989 SITBJECT: TRACT NO. 4170, PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 857 - MINOR MODIFICATION NO. 1 (BOSTWICK) RackRrourid This tract was formerly TR- 3070 -5. On January 20, 1.986 the City Council approved Resolution No. 86 -268 which amended Resolution No. 83 -54 and approved a Major Modification to Residential Planned. Development Permit No. 857 and approved revised Tentative Tract Map No. 4170. The above was the application of U.S. Condominium Corporation. The requested minor modification to Planned Development Permit No. PD -857 is to allow the construction of a 166.75 square foot: addi_ti.on to the existing single family residence. The addition is noted on the proposed plans as a family room. The subject site is located in the Varsity Park Patio Homeowners Association. This Homeowners Association. approved the applicant's proposed addition on August 1.2, 1989. (see attachment). Although there will be a condition imposed with this request regarding color and materials; the proposed plans do show that the exterior colors and materials will_ match the existing house. The Director_ of Community Development has reviewed the proposed modification and intends to approve it. Pursuant to Resolution No. 88 -523, the Director has the authority to approve minor modifications. This matter is being presented to the Council. as a. courtesy. In the event the Council. wishes to appeal; it: should set a public hearing date. The next available meeting date would be September 20, 1.989.
