Knipe, Assistant City Engineer September 12, 1989 ACCEPTANCE OF THE DELFEN STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Delfen Street traffic signal has been in operation since the first of the year and the contractor has just recently completed all items of work on this project. This project installed a traffic signal system with safety lighting at the intersection of Campus Park Drive - Delfen Street. As part of this project, the Delfen Street traffic signal was interconnected with the signal at the intersection of Campus Park Drive - College View Avenue. The total construction cost was $84,915 including two change orders totaling $1,575. The change orders were for an electrical service cabinet modification and for additional overlap signal heads. The Council may now accept the improvements and direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. RECOMMENDED ACTION Accept the Delfen Street traffic signal and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. copy: Steve Kueny, City Manager R.
