Backkground
All of the above - referenced development plan and industrial. planned
development permits were approved by the City Council in 1988 and
1989 (location map has been included as Exhibit 1). A Minor Modification
has been requested to allow a change in light standards for the entire
industrial park located north of Los Angeles Avenue and east and west of
Maureen Lane.
Tlicrnccinn
The applicant has requested to change the color of the permitted
pole lights from "medium bronze" to "white ", because the white light
standards are considered to be more compatible with the building colors.
This change is being requested for the entire industrial park to ensure
consistency. Fixture type, wattage, location, and height will not change.
A photograph of the proposed white light standard is attached as
Exhibit 2. Staff has included a condition of approval requiring the base
of the light standards to be painted the same color as the associated
industrial building.
