ADJOURNMENT: All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during regular business hours. The agenda for all regular Teen Council meetings is also available on the City's website at www.ci.moorpark.ca.us. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:09pm by Courtney Beaulieu. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge was led by Shawn Fenerin. 3. ROLL CALL: Present: Bridget Aamoth, Danielle Bautista, Courtney Beaulieu, Shawn Fenerin, Megan Gratke, Gavin Mazur, Deema Momani, Olivia Ordin, Forest Sullenbarger, Laura Traffenstedt. Absent: Matiana Gajda, Samantha Gajda, Natalie Garcia, Stone Hagman-Lawson, Ryan Wicks. Staff Present: Dylan Gunning. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS: A. Teen Council Hours Dylan Gunning presented the chart of hours that indicated the hours completed to date of the Teen Council members. B. Report from Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary All were pleased with the turnout of both the Trick-or-Treat Village and the Middle School Glow Dance. C. Report from Promotion Officers Megan Gratke and Bridget Aamoth advertised both the Middle School Glow Dance and Trick or Treat Village through Facebook, Twitter, and lnstragram. D. Trick or Treat Village Recap Dylan Gunning stated that the Trick-or-Treat Village had 137 children compared to 218 the prior year. 55 volunteers helped run the event. Teen Council filled out a survey that provided input on the event. Teen Council Regular Meeting Minutes November 6, 2013 Page 2 E. Upcoming Teen Programs Game Night will be November 15 from 7-10 p.m. at Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. Shawn Fenerin, Megan Gratke, Forrest Sullenbarger, and Laura Traffenstedt are coordinating the Quidditch event for February. F. Brainstorm Ideas for Teen Programs and Classes Teen Council discussed future dances ideas. Teen Council discussed that Teen Council volunteers could be the DJ using MP3 players. Additional food items should include chips (Doritos, Lays, Cheetos, etc.), Candy (Twix, gummy worms, m-&-m's, etc.), and soda. 6. ANNOUNCEMENTS/FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: None. 7. CONSENT: The 10/16/13 Minutes were approved. 8. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu.
