Approval of 11-20-13 Minutes
8. ADJOURNMENT:
All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public
inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during
regular business hours. The agenda for all regular Teen Council meetings is also available on the City's
website at www.MoorparkCa.qov

1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 4:06 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge was led by Courtney Beaulieu.
3. ROLL CALL:
Present: Bridget Aamoth, Danielle Bautista, Courtney Beaulieu, Shawn Fenerin,
Matiana Gajda, Samantha Gajda, Natalie Garcia, Stone Hagman-Lawson, Gavin
Mazur, Deema Momani, Olivia Ordin, Forrest Sullenbarger, Laura Traffenstedt.
Absent: Megan Gratke, Ryan Wicks.
Staff Present: Dylan Gunning.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS:
A. Teen Council Hours
Dylan Gunning presented the chart of hours completed to date of the Teen
Council members.
B. Report from Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary
All were pleased with the turnout for the Teen Game Night.
C. Report from Promotion Officers
Bridget Aamoth reported that she and Megan Gratke advertised the Game
Night using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
D. Upcoming Teen Programs
The Gingerbread House Challenge / Ugly Sweater Contest are December
13. The Valentine Cupcake Challenge will be February 8. The Quidditch
Match will be held on February 1. Teen Game Night will be January 18.
E. Brainstorm ideas for Future Teen Programs and Classes
For the Valentine Cupcake Challenge, Teen Council discussed ideas for the
secret ingredient and came up with the following options: strawberries,

Oreo's, and Sweethearts. For the Teen Game Night, Teen Council
suggested that the Promotion officers promote the air hockey tables, as they
were quite popular at the November 15, 2013 Teen Game Night.The Council
discussed the purchase of new technology including new TV's, an Xbox One
and a PlayStation 4 for future game nights and to be incorporated in other
activities.
6. ANNOUNCEMENTS/FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS:
None.
7. CONSENT:
The 11/6/13 Minutes were approved.
8. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu.
