8. ADJOURNMENT:
All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public
inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during regular
business hours. The agenda for all regular Teen Council meetings is also available on the City's website at
www.MoorparkCa.gov

1. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge was led by Courtney Beaulieu.
3. ROLL CALL:
Present: Bridget Aamoth, Courtney Beaulieu, Shawn Fenerin, Matiana Gajda,
Samantha Gajda, Natalie Garcia, Megan Gratke, Stone Hagman-Lawson, Gavin
Mazur, Deema Momani, Olivia Ordin, Forrest Sullenbarger, Laura Traffenstedt,
Ryan Wicks.
Absent: Danielle Bautista.
Staff Present: Dylan Gunning.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS:
A. Teen Council Hours
Dylan Gunning presented the chart of hours completed to date of the Teen
Council members.
B. Report from Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary
All were disappointed with the low turnout at the Gingerbread House Contest.
C. Report from Promotion Officers
Bridget Aamoth and Megan Gratke reported that they advertised the
Gingerbread House Challenge using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
D. Upcoming Teen Programs
The Quidditch Match will be held on February 1. The Valentine Cupcake
Challenge will be February 8. Teen Game Night will be January 18.
E. Brainstorm Ideas for Future Teen Programs and Classes
Teen Council discussed ideas for the spring season of events. Ideas
included having a lot of food at the Spring Dance to help draw in more teens.
Teen Council suggested having a ping pong tournament, karaoke and a 3 on
3 basketball game at the upcoming game night.
