ADJOURNMENT: All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during regular business hours. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:05 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge was led by Shawn Fenerin. 3. ROLL CALL: Present: Bridget Aamoth, Courtney Beaulieu, Shawn Fenerin, Matiana Gajda, Samantha Gajda, Megan Gratke, Stone Hagman-Lawson, Gavin Mazur, Deema Momani, Olivia Ordin, Forrest Sullenbarger, Laura Traffenstedt. Absent: Danielle Bautista, Natalie Garcia, Ryan Wicks. Staff Present: Dylan Gunning. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS: A. Teen Council Hours Dylan Gunning presented the chart of hours completed to date of the Teen Council members. B. Report from Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary No report. C. Report from Promotion Officers Bridget Aamoth and Megan Gratke reported that they are advertising the Game Night and Quidditch Match using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. D. Upcoming Teen Programs Courtney Beaulieu passed out a sheet listing all the events. Teen Game Night will be January 18. The Quidditch Match will be held on February 1. The Valentine Cupcake Challenge will be February 8. E. Brainstorm Ideas for Future Teen Programs and Classes Dylan Gunning suggested that the Teen Council form a team for the Moorpark Relay for Life. Teen Council discussed the programming idea of providing college bus tours as a future activity. Teen Council Regular Meeting Minutes January 14, 2014 Page 2 6. ANNOUNCEMENTS/FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: None. 7. CONSENT: Motion was made by Laura Traffenstedt to approve the Minutes of 12/18/13, seconded by Forrest Sullenbarger. The motion passed by voice vote 12-0, Danielle Bautista, Natalie Garcia, Ryan Wicks absent. 8. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m. by Courtney Beaulieu.
