CONSENT CALENDAR: A. Approval of February 4, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes. 8. ADJOURNMENT: All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during regular business hours. The agenda for all special Teen Council meetings is also available on the City's website at www.MoorparkCa.gov. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:03 p.m. by Olivia Ordin. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge was led by Laura Traffenstedt. 3. ROLL CALL: Present: Bridget Aamoth, Andrew Austin, Ryan Bermont, Josh Donner, Matiana Gajda, Natalie Garcia, Megan Gratke, Kanika Gulia, Stone Hagman-Lawson, Gavin Mazur, Olivia Ordin, Siddhi Salunke, Laura Traffenstedt. Absent: Samantha Gajda, Lila Masson. Staff Present: Dylan Gunning. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS: A. Teen Council Hours Dylan Gunning reminded the Council that the Teen Council volunteer hour goal is to reach 35 hours per person by May. B. Report from Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary Chair Olivia Ordin, Vice-Chair Laura Traffenstedt, and Secretary Megan Gratke thanked everyone for attending the Open Mic Night. C. Report from Promotion Officers No Report. D. Upcoming Teen Programs Cupcake Challenge: Friday, February 6, 2015. Game Night: Saturday, February 21, 2015. Kite Day: Saturday, March 7, 2015 Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 4, 2015. E. Brainstorm Ideas for Teen Programs and Classes Teen Council held an open forum to discuss ideas for possible Teen Council organized events in the Summer season. The discussed events Teen Council Regular Meeting Minutes February 4, 4:00 p.m. Page 2 were: Water Day Party, Community Clean Up Day, Teen Film Making Festival, and a Drive-in Movie. 6. ANNOUNCEMENTS/FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: None. 7. CONSENT CALENDAR: MOTION: Teen Council member Andrew Austin moved and Teen Council member Matiana Gajda seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by voice vote: 13 - 0, Teen Council members Samantha Gajda, Lila Masson were absent. A. Consider Regular Meeting Minutes of January 7, 2015. Staff Recommendation: Approve the minutes. 8. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 5:02 p.m. by Olivia Ordin.
