Accordingly, I'm submitting my resignation in the hopes that someone better able to accommodate this schedule might be found. It has been both an education and a pleasure to serve during these past four years. I've been made aware as never before of the vitalness of transportation planning and implementation at every level of government and how it impacts our lives, especially those such as the seniors and handicapped whose needs are often overlooked or not considered. If I may be of any further service to you, the city, successor, please don't hesitate to contact me.
