The duties of the director's position have been split between several staff members, however, the Management Analyst, Don Reynolds, has been assigned most of the core responsibilities of the position in addition to his own significant workload. Funding for this increase is available in the Community Services department due to the current vacancy. Recommendation It is recommended that the Management Analyst's salary be temporarily increased 5% ($1,498 to $1,573 bi- weekly) as out -of- class compensation while he performs some of the duties of the Director of Community Services position in addition to his own.
