SUBJECT: Basketball Scoreboard Purchase Request BACKGROUND In the past, the Citv Basketball leagues have used the basketball scoreboard at the Casey High School Gym. This scoreboard was not in good condition, but was workable. portable keyboard, compatible with that system was provided by Lae School District. when the Boys and Gi--ls Club bought the gym, _hey replaced the scoreboard with a model not compatible with tae school district's kevboard. This action left us without a scoreboard. DISCUSSION we have two options in resolving this -roble-. The first sc =uticn is to purchase a keyboard compatible with the Boys and Girls Club model. This item is available through Hanson and Associates at a cost of $654.00 including delivery, freight and sales tax. =he benefit to the keyboard is that this i_em will provide continuity in our basketball sports leagues.
