ACTION:
SUBJECT: Bond Exoneration for Tract 3019 —
& Tract 3525 (Warmington)
OVERVIEW
This requests approval of the exoneration of a bond related to the
construction and maintenance of certain improvements within the
subject tracts.
BACKGROUND
In June of 1991 the City Council approved the exoneration and /or
reduction of a number of bonds posted to guarantee the improvements
within Tracts 3019 and 3525. Other bonds on file with the City
were held pending the resolution of a subsidence problem near the
corner of Williams Ranch Road and Peach Hill Road.
DISCUSSION
An action plan for the resolution of the above mention problems has
been approved by the prior City Engineer, Willdan Associates. That
action plan called for the deposit of a bond to guarantee that
work. That bond [No. 120- 90 -25, Insurance Company of the West] has
been received by the City. It is, therefore, appropriate to
release the other remaining bonds pertaining to the subject
subdivisions. A list of the bonds recommended for release is as
follows:
