HomeMy WebLinkAboutAGENDA REPORT 1992 0701 CC REG ITEM 08HITE 8. �� 140 MOORPARK 799 Moorpark Avenue Moorpark, California 93021 (805) 529 -6864 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM TO: The Honorable City Council FROM: William Phelps, Director of Community Development (k/f DATE: June 26, 1992 (CC meeting of 7/1/92) SUBJECT: CONSIDER GRANT OF EASEMENT TO VENTURA PACIFIC CAPITAL GROUP (VPCG) FOR USE OF GISLER ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY ( VENTURA PACIFIC CAPITAL GROUP & MCLEOD CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION) Background The two property owners will enter into an agreement that guarantees a sixty (60) foot wide clear area around the entire structure. This action will in effect eliminate the normal side yard required by each property and result in the appearance of a single shopping center rather than two. The City action is required because prior owners deeded several parcels of land to the County for road purposes. Subsequently some of these roads were abandoned making the Title murky. Therefore to erase the ambiguities the subject parties have requested the City to grant easement deed to VPCG. To permit the execution of the side yard agreement. Recommendation That the City Council approve and grant the easement deed to VCPG subject to review and approval of the necessary documents by the City Attorney and City Manager. Attachments: 1.
