Bid Withdrawn In addition to the bids listed in Exhibit 'A' , a bid was received from the firm of Gansek Construction. This bid was for an amount significantly lower ($26, 629.08) than the Engineer's Estimate or the other bids submitted. Subsequent to the bid opening, the owner of the firm discovered an error in his bid calculations. He has, therefore, requested (Exhibit B) that he be permitted to withdraw his bid. In the opinion of staff it would be in the best interest of both parties to grant this request. City Council Sidewalks Page 3 F.
