This practice can be unsightly as evidenced by the parking of empty dump trucks, unattended dump trailers and other large vehicles, and would appear to be a public safety problem. The Public Works and Facilities Committee recommended a parking restriction between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6 :00 a.m. Although the Committee did not discuss the Park and Ride lot east of Moorpark Avenue, it is recommended that parking be prohibited in this lot between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. in order to be consistent with the parking restrictions in the parking lot at 310 High Street, as adopted by Resolution 92 -831.
