accompanied the Budget and annual
ncluded this project.
4. As mentioned in that staff report and approved by the City
Council, the source for the funding for this project is a
portion of the surplus Improvements Assessments levied upon the
.Lots within Zone of Benefit #2 (Tract 2865) over several years
Eor the construction of the Tierra Rejada Road median
Landscaping.
DISCUSSION
A. Project Description
The City maintains a number of the storm drain debris /siltation
basins located south of certain lots in Tract 2865. Pursuant to
the Conditions of Approval, the cost of said maintenance is to
be funded by a portion of the Zone 2 benefit assessments levied
lapon the lots in that Tract.
One of the storm drain debris /siltaion basins is located south
of Lot 226 on Sunnyslope Place ( See Exhibit 1) . This debris
basin was constructed in a manner which does not provide for
vehicular access to the floor of the debris /siltation basin.
This makes it difficult to impossible to provide required
maintenance (silt removal, etc.) at this location. The purpose
of this project is to construct a maintenance access road to
enable the City to provide this maintenance.

The preliminary cost estimate is slightly higher than the budget
