The increase in ridership is having a negative impact on a
couple of the business on High Street, directly across from the
Metrolink Station. Metrolink riders are parking on both sides
of High and Magnolia streets, in i-ront of Sweet Cinn's, Lucky
Dog's, the welding shop, and Kahout's. ibis practice prevents
potential customers from patronizitiu those businesses.
Staff is proposing that Council adopt the attached resolution
which implements restrictive two -hour parking, Monday through
Friday, on the north side of High street from the welding shop,
west to the corner of Bard Street and on Moth sides of Magnolia,
from High Street 303 feet north (approximately half way between
High and Charles streets). See Fxhikit A.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached
resolution establishing restricted parkinq zones on High Street
and on Magnolia Street.
