SUBJECT: Consider Authorizing Recordation of the Notice of
Completion for a Project to Construct Parkway Irrigation
and Landscaping at Los Angeles Avenue & Spring Road; Los
Angeles Avenue Shasta Avenue; Poindexter Avenue & Sierra
Avenue and Spring Rd & Peach Hill Road
On March 16,1994, the City Council awarded a contract to California
Landscape, Inc. for the construction of the subject project.

The project design calls for the construction of irrigation and
landscaping at the following locations:
• North side of Los Angeles Ave. Spring Rd to Millard Street;
• North side of Los Angeles Avenue at Shasta Avenue;
• South side of Poindexter Avenue at Sierra Avenue;
• East side Spring Road south of Peach Hill Road.
The City's landscape maintenance contractor has been retained
to construct additional landscaping improvements at L. A. Ave.
& Shasta and at L.A. Ave. & Spring Rd.

Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:
1. Accept the work as completed.
2. Instruct the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion for
the project.
3. Authorize the release of the retention upon satisfactory
clearance of the thirty five (35) day lien period.
